SUBMIT BAR GONE!

My Play Online screen has suddenly altered appearance: the SUBMIT bar and the CANCAL bar have disappeared, leaving me no way to reply to moves. How can this be fixed? If no way, then how can I uninstall and reinstall the program???

Try these one at a time - to see whether it helps:

1. Refresh your browser cache.
2. Restart your browser.
3. Use a different browser.

you probably changed your "CONFIRMATION" setting on http://www.chess.com/home/echess_settings.html

My CONFIRMATION setting is unchanged. Refreshing browser cache did nothing. Restarting browser did nothing. Using different browser doesn't work, because its diagrams have no squares or lines. In addition to the missing bar commands, move numbers are missing too.

How does one uninstall and reinstall the program? Or can it even be done? 

Try holding down CTRL, then pressing F5 (or Function R if you are on a Mac) on the game page.

That wasn't the answer...my Control Panel change of fonts obliterated the text on every website I visit. A helping hand fixed the problem. Fonts will remain exactly as they are, permanently! Thanks for the comments and tips.
