Swapping opponents in bughouse

3 friends and I want to play bughouse together. We're able to get all four of us in the game at the same time, but we want to be able to switch which player we play against (ie: it's always A vs B and C vs D but we want A vs D and B vs C). Do we just have to play rated games to change our ratings, because we're playing unrated custom games. Thanks!
