Switching Gold membership from apple to android

Hello! I have a gold membership purchased through the Apple App Store, but I have switched to android recently. When I attempt to check the membership status within the android app, it says

"Your Chess.com subscription is currently managed through Apple App Store. You must first cancel and let that subscription expire before you can subscribe through Google Play".

I have cancelled the memberhsip renewal in the Apple App Store, but the subscription doesn't expire until October 26, 2024. Is there anyway I can transfer the remaining membership to android so I don't have to wait a few months to access my membership? If not, can I get a refund for July - October 26, 2024? I have actually not been able to access for longer than that because I had to borrow an apple device to sign in and cancel. Thanks!

You can contact Support directly using the Help option in the menu and they should be able to answer
