Tactic Training Numbers?

The numbers at the left are after one problem, the numbers at the right are after the next problem. Note the jumps in the numbers, "attempts" showing the biggest jump, but the others jump too.
Thanks.
The first item tells you what your new rating is. The last four items belong to the problem that you completed. The number of attempts listed is how many attempts were made on that problem. The pass rate tells you what percentage of those attempts passed the problem. The average time tells you the average time people (the ones that passed) took to solve the problem.
In the example you gave, you see 1152 attempts were made on the second problem with a passing rate of 42.8%. This doesn't necessarily mean 1152 people have tried the problem because there are times where people attempt the same problem multiple times, but it does mean that there were 1152 tries to solve that problem and 42.8% of those passed.

In Tactics Trainer the numbers for:
Rating
Problem Rating
Average Time
Attempts
Pass Rate
All seem to move around for no apparent reason. I understand that the effect on rating takes into account the time spent on a problem, but numbers like attempts would seem like they would increase incrementally.
The numbers make large changes in either direction and I am baffled.
Thanks for your help.
