Well, not to my knowledge. You're talking about the square the enemy piece move FROM, right?
tactics area setup
i think in setting is is something like "highlight previous move", or i assume that is what that means.

That setting is only in the Online Chess settings, not in the Tactics Trainer settings. But, after just testing, it actually impacts the Tactics Trainer too.
If you turn it off be sure to really carefully watch the board, otherwise you will likely miss opportunities for en passant when they occur.

yeah, i like the colored squares. especially since sometimes TT moves so fast i can't see what it did. especially on the first opening.

I always miss en passant opportunities, and afterwards I convince myself that the square wasn't highlighted. I just couldn't have missed it.

Well, I have it turned off in settings, but that doesn't seem to help. In fact, just looking through another person's game on the site, at the end squares got lit up and he has the function turned off too....

That is weird. So you went into Online Chess > Settings, unchecked Highlight the squares of the last move made and clicked on Save Preferences >>?
I just tried it again and when I went into tactics trainer it doesn't highlight the square.
Hi. I've just taken a look at the Tactics Trainer. Is there a way of turning off the function that makes the squares a different colour after the computer moves? I find it very difficult to look at the board and make sense of it.
Thanks!
