Tactics Trainer Bug

Is it possible that you're clicking the piece you just placed before the computer gets a chance to make a move?
No. As far as I can recall, it happens on the first move that I make, and I always wait for the computer to make the move before I do anything.

The next time you see it happen would it be possible for you to copy the link to the tactic so I can test it? Thanks for your help!
It did it again on the last of the 3 problems though it didn't say whether I was right or wrong, but did the reset with the last piece on the new square that I placed it. I will be sure to do this next time it happens.

I'm having a very similar problem with tactic's trainer. I'll click on the a piece that I've anticipated has the next move and the entire tactic will reset and freeze. It's possible that that piece is also the one I just moved. @jac1yn is this a known issue? If so, that's lamentable, since TT is timed and I want to move as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
Adam

Yes, I have a problem with it from time to time also. It seems to happen if I accidently "flick" the piece, or maybe double-click it, I'm not sure what. The upshot is that the computer knows where I moved it to, but the image does not update, and it won't take subsequent moves. I'll try to get a screen shot next time it happens.
I believe this one was one of the problems where toward the end where I finished it correctly and it would reset with the piece I moved last stayed on the square that I moved it to.

I clicked on the attempt to solve link after I already solved it before and it seemed to work fine that time.

Well something is clearly amiss Vistawoods. If you truly were a gold member, then you'd have a little gold star next to your name. No phone # but here's a link to file a ticket:

@epymetheus- Sorry you're having issues! That is a known problem and it will be fixed. The issue happens when you click a piece prior to the computer making its next move, but after you've already moved a piece.

Do I understand correctly that the OP's problem has not yet been solved?
That's a pity, as I experience the same issue, and my TT rating is in free fall, as I have been refreshing the page until I had three unsolved puzzles per day. Some weeks ago, problem has occurred occasionally, but now every single puzzle I solve resets itself, apart from the one-movers, as with the OP.
I have been using both Linux and Windows7x64, Firefox 24, Chromium 29, but TT behaved the same in each case. Would be great if this could be solved.

Hi together,
I experience the same problem KingBishop101 described in the first post. Since all the entries are rather old I wonder wether there is a solution to this problem that I might have missed? My machine is running on Win7 and I am using the latest Firefox as a browser.
The bug first showed up a few weeks ago and now it seems to happen more often - like every third or fourth puzzle. Obviously, that bug is very annoying because it only occurs after you put some thought into a solution and make a move. If the bug occurs, all time spent into that puzzle was worthless - you neither see wether your solution is correct nor do you get (or lose) rating points.
I'm using Linux Debian 7 with Google Chrome 29.0
Whenever I make a correct move on a puzzle that is longer than 1 move the position resets itself to the initial position of the puzzle, sometimes keeping the piece that I moved on the square that I moved it to. I can refresh the page to get a new puzzle, and it won't affect the total number of puzzles I'm allowed to solve. This bug usually happens on the first puzzle I attempt for the day. If the puzzle is a 1 move puzzle, whether I get it right or wrong will behave correctly (though I believe it may still reset the position, can't remember on that) in updating my tactics trainer.
