I strongly suspect this is a problem with your security settings. They don't like chess.com downloading and running the little program that makes the interactive board work. That's their job but like a mother they can be overprotective at times.
Look to your web browser and your firewall/security suite for answers.
Hi. I'm new to this website. Hope someone can help me here. I try to use the free tactics trainer puzzles, but it doesn't seem to acknowledge my move. For example,
it says "you play black" and to the right it says "your move", but when I move a piece, nothing happens. It still says "your move" on the right side, and the bar style timer at the bottom just keeps ticking down to nothing. I've looked all over this website for instructions, including on this forum, but I see none. I was considering purchasing the tactics trainer but if I can't even seem to get the free ones to work, why would I want to buy it? Please help. I would very much appreciate it if someone can tell me where I can find EXACT instructions on how to use it. Thank you.
