taking back moves in unrated games

Yes yes, a teaching game mode!
I wanted to suggest that, but the feature list quickly exploded in my mind.
That's something that would really help boost the community aspect of chess.com: people teaching each other.

I have a friend in my list whom I am coaching. I'm sure he would love this idea of a teaching mode as well, as most of our games are unrated. I think it's a great idea, too. It'd make a point a lot better instead of "Okay, see how you are now and try to imagine how better off you could be..."
Of course, I'm sure the chess.com staff is burdened enough as is and wouldn't expect it anytime soon. Just whenever you guys can get around to it would be great. Thanks for building a great site!

This feature would be a huge plus!
Also:
It could be an option when you create the game, where you check whether or not players will be allowed to request takebacks.
Perhaps even you could allow 1 free takeback, etc. obviously, this is only something that would be an option on unrated games.

Great Idea! Perhaps "teaching mode" should include multiplayer options (in Vote Chess fashion) for lecture-like sessions.....

When I teach the outcome is totally uncertain. That's because one way I teach is by providing blunders that the student either notices or doesn't. I may win, I may lose. But the stats are completely meaningless.
Obviously a teaching game should be unrated, but there are certain stats that might be useful for teaching, such as number of pawn moves, or a graph showing material vs. moves, a chart showing who had control of the center, etc.
Feature request: allow players to take back moves in unrated games.
Sometimes I play unrated games with players to coach them. In these games, it would help a lot to be able to scroll the game back (by agreement I suppose, just like a draw offer) and replay it from there.
