Check out this #chess game: jrheinst vs bigcaptain - http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1084310036 in this game my move was to take Queen x Rook at h2. The move that was made was not my move. i am upset. i do not mind losing, but not like this. I never touched the c8 square. i should not loee a game this way. your app has some sort of glitch. I strongly PROTEST THIS GAME.
It would seem pretty easy for you to have fat fingered 13.. Qc8 as a mistake.
You insist this was not your mistake. I have no way of knowing. Searching through the forums, however, it really doesn't appear to be a big problem.
The term "fat fingering" arose because most people realize that it is more likely that they make mistakes by carelessness or accident with their fingers than that the program has a glitch with the c8 square. They accept that as a cost of the convenience of playing on a tiny screen.
There is move confirmation available for people on mobile apps that often have this problem. (Look in the settings.) How often does this happen to you?
At any rate, there's no point in making a protest here. You should find the forum section related to your particular app and make a bug report there.
Since you lost on time and made no more moves in the game, I must assume you would have lost anyway. Isn't that a reasonable assumption? I mean there really couldn't be any other explanation, could there be?
