The network connection was lost.
If you have both wifi and cellular data at the same time, it may be switching between the connections causing the issue. You may try just using one connection type and see if the problem persists.

What app and app version are you on (still iOS)? I haven't had issues with puzzles on the Android app or web.
In looking, you've done puzzles every day since September 30th, with the exception of October 3rd. So it looks like you're getting credited with them.

I've tried opening a ticket. I was just told to delete the app and reinstall which didn't solve the problem. Looks like I'm on iOS version 4.0.12(1) on both iPhone and iPad but as this has been going on for over a year I'm sure I've had the problem with older versions.
Well yes, I will eventually get credited with puzzles if I keep doing them until I don't get the error. When I get the error the result isn't saved.
I have lost connection while playing a game with someone,he then sent me a message insulting me calling me a pathetic loser
I have had lost connection a few times recently including today.
And yet I am on a wired connection where speed test says my connection is excelent.
As a result several of my games have been abandoned!
@yogabija It might be related to blocking tracking URLs. I have a DNS blackhole for known tracking/marketing hosts at home and it seems to only happen when I use that DNS. If so, very annoying. If you're not running any kind of ad blocker then perhaps it's something else.

I think you're right. After turning Private Relay off on my iphone this problem seems to be solved.
