This is ridiculous-being tricked into annual diamond membership and not getting a response

Hi all,

I'm using chess.com for years. Last week I thought it might be a good idea to try free diamond membership for a week. I was happy about it and decided to keep it for another month.  But on Saturday I saw that they billed me for a whole year, $99! I thought that this is a misunderstanding that can be solved easily: they should just change my subscription to monthly, and reimburse the extra money they have withdrawn from my card. I immediately got in contact with their support team, which was four days ago, and still haven't received a response! As far as I know they don't have a call center, and I don't know how I can get in contact with them. This is ridiculous: I can't even find a contact person for a service that I ended up paying $99. If you had a similar experience, or have any suggestions about what to do, can you please get in contact with me? Thanks.

Support has been having high ticket loads and has a backlog. It will likely take at least 7 days and up to 12... They will contact you and get the situation resolved.

The membership process has a yearly offer, at a lower per month cost billed all at once, and a monthly option that has a higher per month cost. If you have the monthly option selected, it bills for the full year.
