A timeout ratio is simply the percentage of your games you have lost by not moving in time. For example, you have lost two games by not moving in time, out of 7, so your timeout ratio is 2/7 x 100 = 29%. This statistic can be found on your Online Chess page:

The only way to reduce your timeout ratio is by playing more games, and not losing them on time!
