To the chess.com staff: I'm leaving this site!

As my friend said, some people have no class. That could possibly refer to the person you played.

On the other hand, what if the other person was equally as upset by these extremely repetitive moves? I really don't see how either side could be happy about this.

IMHO I don't think this end game, if you can even call it that, was worth it. It wasn't worth the stress for you. Some people don't actually have the time to draw out a game like this and they'd happily leave this game, as they probably have other priorities.

I don't think standing your ground, especially in an online game with anonymous players, builds strong character for either of you.

If you're leaving chess.com, what are the other high quality alternatives online? What are you leaving behind in this chess community? Yes you would be leaving behind unclassy players, but you're also turning your back on very respectable players too that could teach you a thing or two about chess. I think you have to consider these things too. I don't think the root of your anger is from the chess.com staff or the website for that matter. It's just a website. I think that's also partially unfair to put the blame on them. Put the blame on unclassy players, which there will always be a supply of, rule enforcement or not.

Don't let unclassy players ruin your enjoyment for a beautiful art like chess!

Get back in the game KRESTEZ!!!!!!!!!!

I would argue no, because in real life OTB chess a draw by 50-move has to be claimed.

yeah, but this is not OTB, in OTB normally there are increments, there's no autopromotion to queen and you can't do premoves...

pdela

in OTB you can throw it all

This site is full of idiots and you are not doing anything to ban them! Also the 50 moves rule doesn't seem to exist on this site!

Look at this guy, who repeated moves, trying to win a dead drawn position. Claiming a draw by the 50 move rule doesn't seem to work! Also this site is filled with losers like this one (I'm not going to put his name here, though)

Please look at the game. This site is starting to become a joke. I have been a member for quite some time but I think I'm going to delete my account sooner or later.

So do you think the chess.com staff will run through all 8 million people and check their records? "Look at this guy!" Well this guy is apparently 1/8,000,000 people, if you know your math!

No one cares...

Quick question...Does the 50 move draw rule work on the Romanian chess site?

Since you're so intellectually superior to most Americans it seems it wouldn't be so difficult for you to find it and play there.

Unless, of course, there isn't one.

You would think with all the excess brains you folks have you could have figured out how to make one too.

I disagree - at any one moment ~48% are losers and ~48% are winners; the rest think they are winning or losing, but are actually drawing.

Krestez-Can you please let me know what move you clicked draw on? I'd be happy to test the issue to make sure that its working properly.

i'm pretty sure it works jac1lyn... however now it is imposible to know when did he click, sure he will answer the proper movement he would have had to claim the draw otherway it would be a explicit recognizement all what he has said in the thread is BS
