Trouble starting a new game

...I don’t know...did you try closing out and going back in? Other than that I’m out of ideas.
I had the same problem
Even when I close the tab and open a new one, when I click play, I am still taken back to my last game, with only the option of playing another game with the same time settings. I am using Chrome , but I just downloaded Firefox, and the same thing happens. Any ideas?

I just tested and hitting New Game and then Play works.
If you want a different time control on that the previous game, just click the time and choose a new one.

This doesn't work for me. Clicking "new game" just brings me back to the finished game screen with a message in front of the board saying: "You won!" In the image below, if I click "new game" I will be taken back exactly to the page that the tab is half-covering. x.x

The same thing is happening to me. After going into game, I clicked messages cause there was a notification and after that the game aborted since the opppnent left. Ever since then I have not been able to play or start a new game. Pls help me!!!
Ok, after a week of looking´, I found it. It is the red circled button. Just didn't see it. It would be nice if clicking "play" or "new game" would take me directly to a page where I could start a game though....
None of those works. Most of the time it takes me to watch the highest ranked game. As time goes by and sometimes a lot of time waiting, it finally lets me play a new game

same here
After finishing a game, lately I have had trouble starting a new one. When I click "play" on the left side and choose "play online," I am taken back to the game I just finished. The same thing happens when I hover over "play" on the left side and click either "new game" or "play(beta)" The only thing that works is on the screen of my finished game to click "new 15|10." This works if I want to play another 15|10 game, but it doesn't give me an option to choose any other time setting. What's going on?
