I can't beet my dad at it if u guys have some kind of trick I could use?

swap his pieces when he is not looking
GirlPlayer, chess isn't about tricks. A lot it, however, does depend on looking.
I went through some of your games and saw a lack of *Looking*. Before you move, *Look* for any peices you can capture. Before you move, *Look* to see if any one your own pieces can be captured (that's called being "en pris") and if so either protect that piece (so if he captures it, you can in turn capture his piece of equal value - this is called a "trade") or move it where it's safe.
*Not Looking* will cause you to lose more games than anything.
You could be the daughter of Kasparov. In that case, sorry, i don't think you could be able to defeat him.
In case your dad isn't a World Champion, just practice, practice, practice. Is the way to improve, not only in chess but in any sport.
Come on guys. Not one reply in my thread but yah guys jump on this obvious troll thread because the users name has "girl" in it..
Ack I'm a bit embarrassed vicariously..
don't beat your dad at chess. he will only stop playing you after the first time he loses. that's what happened to my dad after i beat him, so i'm talking from personal experience. instead, keep making him think that he's better than you. adults can be stubborn and arrogant sometimes
Exactly, that's just the problem why I can't play chess at home anymore. It also works with moms and older brothers.
