Unable to connect - matchmaking broken?

So, until last night I have been able to properly connect in rapid games within secs and play games frequently. Now all of a sudden clicking play it takes me to that connecting screen and just stays there forever. My net connection is fine and just the same as it ever was. Nothing has changed there. Is this unique to me? If so, why and how do I fix it?

I’m playing from the iPad app FYI.

Ok never mind. Seems like there was some bug with the app. I tired connecting and playing from the site on chrome. That worked. When I returned back to the app after one game, it started working again. 🤔

Something for the devs to look at perhaps.
