Yeah, but this are not the game trophies. Game trophies you can only give after a match in correlation to it and from the match parameters there. I think it is located in the info tab of a match.
Its also a different collection of trophies

If your opponent only allows direct messages from friends (a privacy setting), then you must be friends or the game archive won't display the “Send Award” option. Awards are treated the same as messages in terms of privacy settings. That’s what I’ve noticed.

In your archive, click on the time control icon on the left side of the game record. For example, the bullet or the lightning or the time clock symbol. Then when the game window opens, click on the information tab. Scroll down and you should see an option to send a game award. (See post #3 by @Andrea).
