There's no guaranteed correlation between browser version and the functionality of a website's fundamental functions. This has been confirmed by user reports on the chess.com forum. I was no exception and attempted to approach the issue from multiple angles. I even had to check the page's code. After some logical deductions, I concluded that the problem lay in nothing other than the website's functionality. The developers clearly overdid it in the latest update, updating something that disrupted the game for some users. I've already sent the administration a letter, but I doubt this one-time request will adequately inform the developers of the errors in their website. Therefore, I suggest the author of this post assist me by sending a similar letter.
