Unable to post images in forums

Explanation - Images get uploaded and appear in the draft. After clicking "Post", the image gets vanished, only text stays in the post, or if there were no text, then the post is blank.
What have I tried? Results were same even after :
1. Clearing cache,
2. Using different browsers, 
3. Posting in different forums.
Example: I have uploaded an image under this text
The image is above this text

EDIT : The issue is RESOLVED, though there are some limitations. For anyone facing similar issues, edit the comment and reupload the image. Though not the best way, but it works. Kudos to @MyMovesAreNotYours for your advice.

What type and size of file?

Nothing specific, 500kb perhaps. Tried uploading jpeg and png formats

The Nazi mods muted my last account. Just edit and repost the image. It's a glitch in their system. And they should stop banning accounts because the game ends up abandoned after you make moves.

I doubt it is a ban or a block, I haven't used the site enough to inadvertently break terms of use. I have played 6 live games, all fully completed.

I have seen one similar report and the member mentioned editing the post will show it and then resubmit.

If you're using a VPN you might try it without that. Also, you might try in an incognito/private window/tab and see if that changes anything .

Today I made a post with picture and then clicked edit. The image vanished in the edit draft, so my issue seems a bit different.

Not using VPN. So, we can exclude that as a factor.

Tried posting in incognito mode, same result.

My guess is it's something on your system doing it. Some kind of security software maybe. You are using the Upload option, correct?

Yes, I am posting the image by clicking the upload button and not using the embed url feature.
I have tried posting through my phone (browser, not app) and laptop, both results in image being vanished from the final post.

Are you posting from a private Internet connection? Some businesses might filter out content to prevent data being removed from the company.

Yes, it is private (wired broadband). I haven't tried uploading with mobile internet though. I will let you know once I try.

I'm having the same problem. Initially, I couldn't upload the image and received a "external link removed from the post" message, even though I uploaded it from my PC. It only worked after editing the original post and re-uploading.

New accounts have limitations on uploading images

I'm having the same problem. Editing doesn't work. Trying to post it again doesn't work. Anyone found a solution other than #4?

Your account looks old. Were you able to post images before or is this the first time you are trying to post an image in some forum?
