UNFAIR RESTRICTION

There is a wire to the modem,its a long one because I was told this improves the signal?

By wired or wireless, they mean does your computer plug into the the modem directly or not? Nothing to do with antennas.

IMO, staff's actions are based on feedback from chess.com members. They are trying to please the majority (fair players) instead of the minority (unfair players). This seems quite reasonable.

However, it would be nice to see fewer forum topics on this topic. Hopefully as time goes on and people adjust to the rules, this will naturally happen.

Is yours the only wire into the modem or does it:

i) Have other wired connections

ii) Also have wireless connections

iii) Have both of the above.

MY Problem is that it keeps saying i am playing unfair and restricts me but im not doing anything wrong or losing connection, wtf

 I only play turn-based on this site now but i had the EXACT same problem trying to play live chess, Seems i had a BROSWER problem that disconnected me every time ! Strange part was it worked fine on all my other chess sites but not here. But the problem definately was the Broswer ( fire-fox) once i changed everything worked just fine.      

I'm playing with an exellent connection & don't leave games unfinished but am still being restricted. It's frustrating, the restriction bot is more frustrating than the guys that abandon games.

I'll be looking for another place to play chess on the net from now on
