Unrated games as default?

Can anyone help me out? Unrated is still the default and I can't find the setting nyLsel is talking about...
Are "unrated" games the default now? A couple of times recently when I've started a new seek for an Online Chess game, I haven't noticed until after creating the invitation that "Rated - No" was checked. This is annoying-- is it just me or is this a new site-wide policy?
