unrated games only?

For some reason it seems as though all the games I start are for "unrated" only, even though I select the following options:

1. Start New Game
2. game options I select
3. "This is a rated game"

Is this because I'm a new member and can't be trusted to play "rated" games yet?

Hello. I`ve just checked your profile and all four games in progress are rated. 3 of your opponents are "unrated" which means they have not finished a game yet. Each player starts at 1200 (your rating is 1200 although you are "unrated"). If you don`t want to play unrated opponents there are two ways. When you want to start/create a new game

1.  change the rating interval of players who can accept your open challenge, i.e. make it Max: 1199 or Min 1201.

2. change the default setting of "Has played at least ... games" to a number you like. As long as it is "0" unrated players can accept your challenges.
