Could someone please advise how you can report someone making insulting and childish comments. Thanks in advance.

If it's not something that you can disregard and move past after disabling the chat or blocking the other member, copy down the chat or take a screenshot, and create a support ticket: http://support.chess.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit and send along evidence of their behavior.

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."  -Eleanor Roosevelt.  The same goes for remarks of all types.   If one reported all such people it would take a lot of time better spent with Tactics Trainer.  In other words:  Unless it is very offensive, consider the source and avoid any such person in the future.

Good policy Cool.  "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster.  And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee."

If you wrestle with a pig, you both get muddy, and the pig likes it :)

If I roast and eat the pig, it tastes good!

its just another tactic.  if they have you looking at there commits, looking at there moves, looking at your moves.  thinking about what they say, thinking about what you're going to say.  your clock is just ticking away!

I believe that latest conversation took place between Winston Churchill and some lady he didn't like that much.

When she accused him of being drunk he said, " yes, but you're ugly and in the morning I'll be sober."

(I don't have the exact quote but it was something very simlar to that.)

I think the same lady told him on another occasion that if she was his wife she would put poison in his coffee. He replied, "Lady, if you were my wife I would drink it!"

(Again the quote is approximate)

If you show the pig some love and share a jackfruit with him/her, you BOTH end up happy. After all, the happier everyone around you is, the happier you can be.
