Hello,  I want to ask a question of all the people are interested in chess!?and please tell me your real answer bravely!! How many of you are agree with Mr...who has taken a photo on the pool or in the sea as a profile picture about chess!?is it really wisely if it is I will be with the maximum votes?!....wish the bests for you all.

another couple of fails here. 

accounts are closed all the time, but, cc labels many as, "closed: inactive", when the member was here yesterday. this fail has been here for years. trysts made a point telling us that she was leaving, but her account showed inactive. is that type of coding so difficult? 

i tried to start a game a few minutes ago titled "you are 1900! let's see it!" a popup stated there were illegal characters in the title. i tried numerous times, with different versions, and, i do not know what the "illegal" characters are. can any staff member explain this?

to staff (if you even bother), i started this topic after i went to v3. many concerns here are valid, and, there is little response aside from making a suggestion by clicking on the little question mark. 

if you want me to use that function for all of my questions, and those of others, i just might.

i just played a live game where, out of the blue, i could not move, the time for each player was flashing, and a popup in the chatbox stated i had disconnected. huh? the little bars that show our connections showed mine three of four. how is that disconnected?

i don't need any "help" from cc losing games! 

where is staff on any of the many issues here?

there is an issue that many of us see where the help & support topics get little or no feedback, when, that is where many go, instead of somehow knowing the tiny question mark at the top of the page will somehow help.

getting back to a very simple issue, which is naming games. i just challenged a friend and i titled it, "bunny vs. human".

this was not acceptable. a popup told me there were illegal characters in the name. 

can any staff member tell us why it is illegal?

i am also consistently taken that this topic is in help & support, yet there is little response from those running the site, when many have brought up issues. 

after four days, still no response to my feedback about how these topics are ignored. 

i clicked on the little question mark, asked why there is little to no response in h & s, and...

crickets chirping. 

 I think numbers and special characters are considered as illegal characters.

It's official now I guess ... Bunnies are illegal too.

Probably because many features didn't work as expected then.  And now, things that used to work are broken.  Perhaps that's just being consistent.  Or different features are broken on different platforms.  Who really knows? 

Perhaps a forum topic tracking list of known issues per platform, shared by users, since not much information is forthcoming rrom the site itself, might be useful but it would also be a nightmare for the biz.

Funny but true. I have seen staff members commenting in forums related to premium membership. But I rarely see them in Help&Support. 

if one were to look at this topic, where staff has, in the past, told us to go, it is a failure. 

what forum topic do you see as one where listing current issues could work in a different way than what i have presented here? this topic allowed others to state the issues they have. 

this is also the help and support forum, where you, i and others, can describe issues. 

 the issues i have brought forth-game names and those in vc games knowing the vote are not addressed. i do not understand how these things are complicated fixes.

there is a moderator here that has stated some topics will be gone.

with no reference to what will be allowed or not. not a good look, if anyone at cc is concerned about that. 

which brings me to this (again). i, and others, have no way to quickly see our topics in groups. now, i am forced to start a new one, as i went through 28 pages in the group.  

there should be a way where we can source our topics quickly.

once again, waiting with baited breath for staff.

and now, for at least two days, there is an inability to delete comments in v3. a friend tried it in v2 and the function still works. 

can staff see how backwards this is?

It used to be that when someone clicked on the "X", it would replace the post with "[COMMENT DELETED]".

For moderators, if the post was already "[COMMENT DELETED]", the post would be deleted altogether, whereas nothing would happen if you weren't a moderator. So to delete a post, the moderators would have to click on the "X" twice - once to change it to "[COMMENT DELETED]" and again to actually delete it.

This has changed recently so that when a moderator clicks on the "X", the post is deleted immediately - so 1 click instead of 2. So I wouldn't be surprised if the "X" button has been removed for non-moderators, in which case people would have to edit their posts and put their own "[COMMENT DELETED]" or whatever else text they'd like to substitute their original text with - it makes sense to me, because non-moderators have never been able to actually delete the post altogether.
