Can the post increase by playing chess games on this site
v3 questions

Yeah I know that members can delete their own posts. It seems that chess.com has decided to remove this feature.

the analysis function has become screwy. in the past, if we went through a line, then went back to the current position, we could simply click on the forward icon to go through what might be our moves-those we just entered. not anymore.
why?

why is it i occasionally come across posts from only 20 minutes ago, and the member has the icon that shows, "closed: inactive"?
Because some members make accounts, post on the forums and close their accounts quickly. Probably just a few people that do it over and over.
No wonder we have 23 mllkion members.
I cannot believe this.
Come to think of it, it figures.

I'm regularly getting alerts from the Royal Span Society, for no apparent reason.
But there's nothing to adjust in my "settings and alerts." It's all rather confusing.
Never get any from them, that I know of anyhow.
Royal Span does not reach all that wide, I guess.

Dear me, what have I been missing? Never found this thread until today, and I was just about to leave. I will hang around until I have read the lot.
So awfully glad we met.

again, the analyze function is, well, not functioning properly.
there is also a fail with the arrow buttons in correspondence games. they used to bring us to the next ready game. for at least two weeks, these buttons scroll through my games in a random fashion, where clicking on the arrow will show my last move in a game two days ago-no move for me to make.
today i received alerts for "check your game with..." and they were for games finished a month ago. when i clicked on them, a red banner appeared at the top of the screen that read alerts are not available.
what?
staff? staff?

it's as if staff is ignoring that many are turned off by the v3 bugs, but, they don't want it to be discussed.

Has something to do with the fact the thread was started by @IMBacon, aka @FishEyedFools, who is (shall we say) extremely well-connected to chess.com. Do not be surprised if the thread disappears.
the bacon mafia moves in mysterious ways ...

i'm unaware of the connection(s) you speak of, but i do think he is one weird piece of bacon.

with the inevitable and forthcoming closeout of v2, i am reminded why i started this topic,
in help & support.
to get answers.
about v3.
forgive me, followers and friends that have posted here. this topic seems to have been deemed unworthy for answers to questions. i wish you luck in your endeavors to find the meaning in v3 and attempt to work around the cockroaches that linger.
i can only assume that the staff here has been so focused on all the bugs that they have no time to respond. that would be great news! and, no doubt, with any major fix, they will certainly prepare boasting about the site disguised as an apology!
forgive me for thinking out loud here, but i see v4 around the corner to save us! unfortunately, there will still be cockroaches. rest assured, we will all be able to use the "old" v3 for a few years as cc decides whether they want to colonize the cockroaches or be rid of them. this is a tough call, and us members need to be patient as cc takes years to figure out how to colonize roaches. are there roach motels in cyberspace? can cc create a space where the roaches can congregate, and not mess up the member experience here?
um, no.
first, members have always been able to delete their own posts.
second, the "x" has not been removed. go ahead, hover the cursor in your post.
third, if there is some sort of workaround to simply delete a post, v3 has really regressed. to infancy stage of cc.
