Why bother disabling it? It's a benefit you get for paying for a membership: You can give yourself some breathing room in case you can't log in within the time frame for some reason. Granted, yours seems to be triggered by a weird circumstance if you already made the move... but oh well, as long as you're not docked for 24 hours vacation time...
vacation automatically kicked in, not sure why
I've had the same issue twice in the last 12 hours put into vacation despite having 6 hours on my shortest game the first time and 12 hours on my shortest game just now. Each time I've received 3 notifications and emails. I'm now down 48 hours of vacation time through no fault of my own. There's something gone wrong somewhere have submitted tickets waiting on a reply but at this rate I'll have nothing left by a Christmas
I have the same problem. Although 33 hours are left for my shortest game, It automatically turned to vacation mode.
I also experienced this today. The link in the auto vacation message was to a game in which it was my opponents turn. Puzzling. It must be a bug?
I've had the same problem; four times today already, sometimes on games that weren't even my move! It's irritating enough as it is, but since each time subtracts 24 hours of vacation, it's a serious problem, as I might not have any left when I actually need it!
Anyone from the website able to offer an explanation - or, better yet, fix it?
I've written to support. Hopefully, they are tracking the forum also. It has just happened to me for the third time. The last two instances occurred within 30 minutes.
Just checked as I took a screen shot an hour ago. Whilst my games are showing on vacation on thr website the time on them is still counting down, definitely showing vacation active in my settings. But the app on my phone doesn't show my games on pause. Still no replies to anyone I take it
The game that triggered autovation for me was a game in which I still had two days left. Received two emails regarding that game having triggered vacation so far.
I am not even low on time anywhere.

I just received an email that I'd automatically switched to vacation status because I may have "as little as 30 minutes remaining in one of my games".
I followed the link to the game in question, and it's a game in which I played a move earlier this evening.
I'm guessing that the vacation was triggered by the fact that the game was down to within a few hours before I got to it, since "as little as 30 minutes" leaves the question of how much more than 30 minutes is cutting it too close for the server's comfort.
Anyone know the details?
And is there a setting to not automatically go on vacation?
