My subscription is due to run out on 22.4.10 and I will no doubt be renewing it. Thing I want to ask is what happens to all the vacation time I have not taken?

They add it up and pay you double for it.

(You wish!!)

It rolls over, up to a maximum of 60 days for a gold member (90 days for platinum and diamond).

Does it?

The real question is: WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO TAKE A VACATION FROM CHESS??????? Okay, maybe to have a baby, possibly for surgery, maybe (as in my case) to clean the house every once in a while. But all that takes only days. I take daily vacations from Life in order to play CHESS!!

Yeah it says the amount up to 60 days but it doesn't mention vacation time which you don't use

You can't accrue 60 days in only one year, so logically it must roll-over.

Avatar of blackfirestorm

Right ... Nice one thanks for that :))

Avatar of slvnfernando

Doesn't make any difference to me, though!

Well that it add up is for sure!

I got 2 months and 17 days remaining.
I gues this will go down at the moment i got a burnout and flee from chess for a while, or when i do not have enough money to renew my computer when it breaks down.

I take vacations from online chess to play in OTB tournaments, to go fishing, and to work for a living.

Avatar of Kacparov

I take vacations to go to OTB tournaments only.
