Are you running NoScript on your computer?  If so, it may be blocking jwpcdn.com, which began happening on my system a week ago.

I'm having this issue, too. I'm using Chrome. How do I turn off NoScript?

ealdor

I believe NoScript is Firefox only.

jaclyn

What version of Chrome are you using?

works just fine in firefox. Thanks everyone!

jaclyn

Awesome glad to hear that its working for you.

skilledwolf

It works on Internet Explorer but not on Chrome...you don't see that every day!

jaclyn

@skilledwolf, thats the first time I've ever heard that said lol. What version of Chrome are you using? I'm on Chrome on Windows 8 right now and am not having any problems.

skilledwolf

Version 25.0.1364.152 m if that means anything to you. I think it's fully updated but I'm not sure.

jaclyn

You should be able to update to  25.0.1364.160 which is the latest stable release. When you go to About Google Chrome using the settings menu (three horizontal lines) does it give you the option to update?

jon

We are aware of a specific issue that occurs on chrome 24 and rarely on chrome 25. Every other browser should work. We are still investigating the cause.

skilledwolf

I checked and it said that Chrome has finished updating, but the videos still don't work.

jon

Ok thanks skilledwolf. We are addressing issues with video playback on chrome.

skilledwolf

Thank you guys for the help!

For future reference both Chrome and Firefox have options to disable all add-ons, plugins and extensions in case you think one of them is causing problems. If that's the case you just turn them back on one at a time until you find the one creating the problem. FYI:

having the same problem.

works in opera and other browser. I ve checked that it is a problem with the html5 video, jw player works fine with flash version.

Tested here :

Chrome / html5 -> KO

Chrome / flash -> OK

may be an issue related to the war on h264 support in chrome... ?

a first solution  with chrome://flags activate (to disable) the hardware accelerated related option
