Is anyone having problems with a virus from this site? Not sure where it came from?

thesexyknight

No. But how do you know which site it's from?

patriotsman01

first time I saw it was while I was moving in a game last night. no sign of it before then.

Skwerly

Run Linux - all virus problems solved.

I was not sure if it was from the site or not. It was saying all my files with exe, ini extensions were infected  and would not run them. This included downloading any solutions like pc doctor, or one or two others from tucow.com. It was also popping up a few websites, (adult in nature, along with viagra.com) multiple windows opening.) oddly enough today most of the symptoms have disappeared, other than a few ini extensions. I do not seem to be able to open my firefox browser any longer.(ini) could not read application ini. maybe a system restore for that?

Its probably cuz' you've got the problem due to you: Using illegal/unauthorised sites invites problems, i strongly think its from adults' sites or other malware sites. Probably its not chess.com to blame.

So admin your Internet Activity.

64 is running on 20 systems for quite a time, don't think any issue there.
