If you look where you join the game, across the top it will say " Challenge, Game, We play as, Players, Moves, and status. Look under moves if it's not an ongoing game and it will tell you how many days there is to move. Rule of thumb is that most are set at 3 days unless its a speed game.
I would also suggest that you ask whoever else is playing in the game. The members are on the vote chess page under members playing......
Have a look at the page of such a vote chess game. Somewhere at the top right, you will see "moves", together with some information about the moves that have been played in this game so far.
Directly next to this "moves", you click on "details". And there you see which time per move is the time control for this vote chess game, for example
Start: 20 May 2010 | Time: 1 move per 1 day
White: - 1 day left
Black: - 16 hours 18 minutes left
