what the **** cc?

many times i get this:

half the screen is taken over by an ad. it's happening now about every 30 seconds as i write this. 

cc, get your sh*t together. i see enough ads every time i log in. you're making your money. allowing advertisements to take up the screen should be beneath you. 

also, stop sending me messages asking me to pay for the site. if erik had any spine, i probably would. 

That doesn't actually look like a site ad, unless something recently changed. The site also does not directly approve ads but sets ad criteria.

martin, how can you say it's not a site ad? is the screenshot not clear? i don't have ads for discover card taking over half of my screen when i go to other sites. 

where is staff on this? martin, you help some but many times you are a mouthpiece for the site instead of helping. this is one of those times.

The location of the ad isn't placed where it would be placed if it was coming from the site. I'm not saying that a bad behaving bad didn't make it into the rotation, but it looks more like a malware based advertisement that isn't served by the site but by code from the malware.

As to reporting, there are details that can only be gleaned from the client side and the information in that link provides what's needed in order to exactly identify and report so the site can check it out on the ad provider.

I also get ads when looking at people's profile and the ads doesn't allow me to see their stats , clubs , friend list etc cz the whole right side of the profile will be covered by a transparent (idk if that's the word ) ad and when I click on their stats it just takes me to random ads

Well, at least one other member has seen it so it may just be a misbehaving ad. I've mentioned it to staff.

No for me as doesn't appear but when I click on people's stats random ads pop up sometimes happens when playing as well and happening while playing bullet is just the worst

if this continues, mudman, that'll be the next move. i've not done it before because i don't have a problem ignoring ads on the side of the screen. 

I got this ad like five times, and its been really annoying each time. I feel you there

it's happening again, and it seems worse than before. odd how it 'disappeared' for a few weeks and then comes back where it pops up about every ten seconds.

also note how, in the url, it reads, 'not secure'.

I have been getting ads that cover the whole right side of the forums page.

Those ads make it impossible for me to click on the "hot topics", or "unanswered"

I don't remember them being this bad 

That’s really disturbing man. I have a membership but it’s about to go out soon. The staff should take some action in this.

Sounds like it's time for that ad blocker...

The best ad blocker is buying the cheapo star membership.

There are a couple of different things being done that will hopefully stop ads like that 

more info for you to pass on. prior to the ad taking up the bottom half of the screen, the perimeter of the screen will 'glow' in the same orange color the advertiser uses and it stops anything i'm writing.

i also find it weird that this only happens with one advertiser.

my latest game challenge ended up with this:

all i did was enter two day/move, random color, and rating range of -100 to +150. i did this about ten days ago and everything was fine. today, invalid.

Did you try to do it more than once, or are you posting this after one try?

and also being paired up with higher rated players in bullet is a good way to boost your rating
