Why did I lose achievements?

I had 109 achievements, but I now have 105. Did this happen to anyone else?

I think chess.com has hidden/removed bugged achievements like "3D glasses" and "Second Opinion" today. You probably had 4 of those achievements.

It would have been much better if they had turned them into "secret achievements", so they had been shown only on user profiles having those achievements, but not as locked achievements on other user profiles.

Also I see that they have not hidden/removed "Battle Royale", even if they have hidden/removed "Dangerous Intersection". Which is strange/probably a bug.

These are the 8 removed achievements. I've had them all and fell back to 132

Dangerous Intersection
Man vs Machine
Buddy System
Social Butterfly
Second Opinion
Hindsight 20/20
Statistician

I feel like this is a little bit of a 'cop out'. Wouldn't it be better to fix the broken code, rather than removing the ones that didn't work now? Not that I know much about coding...

Maybe they are working on it

I doubt on it... there are so many more severe bugs

I believe there's going to be another future update that's going to happen, so time isn't going to be spent fixing things that are ultimately going to be replaced.

Do you know if there is any reason why "Battle Royale" is not hidden/removed , even if "Dangerous Intersection" has been hidden/removed? I guess "Battle Royale" does not work as of now?

I think that is a current glitch
