Why did I lose this game?

My opponent intentionally stalled because I would not accept a draw, do I switched apps while his timer ticked. I then check the app and I have an abandonment timer ON HIS TURN and lose the game. Ridiculous to let losers like this win by abusing a bad system. Why does my abandonment timer on his turn not stop since I rejoined the app?

The real question is - Why did you play f5 instead of qh7 checkmate?

Because I’m 500 rated and bad. I saw it immediately after i moved the pawn lol

It’s not a good idea to not be in the app, not only because Chess.com may think you are cheating, but even if you aren’t, leaving the app is one of the more common ways of abandoning a game. The system thought that by you leaving the app, you are no longer interested in playing, but you also don’t want to resign, so the system kicks you anyways because that’s just poor sport.

At least, that’s how I see it.

This is correct. Leaving the game is considered abandoning it.

I really think the biggest, most looming question is-

what the heck is that ad?

BerryMaker
Agreed. Ad QA when?
