Why did my membership go to the wrong account?

Dear chess.com moderators,

I paid a platnium membership to my acccount, but it instead went to @DragunZ6969, which is my older brother's account, probably because the accounts were in the same device. Please fix this problem by transfering the membership to me! If you don't believe me, then email my older brother and ask him.

In mobile devices the membership is tied to the account associated with the app store.

You can contact Support directly using the Help option in the menu but if you're on iOS you may need to use the app store to.manage the subscription to delete and refund, then purchase a membership through the website instead.

Can chess.com do the transfer for me? If not:

1. Firstly, my older brother will lose too much money if he pays again.

2. Secondly and lastly, he doesn't need his account which has got the membership.

You'll need to contact Support as mentioned to see if they can transfer. I know iOS is slightly different based on the way their app store works, so if you're on that app, you may have to handle it differently. Either way, support can answer definitively.
