You need to upgrade to premium. R.A.E.s (Random Annoying Events) are one of the ways that Erik tries to get standard members to upgrade.
Obviously I haven't a clue what could be causing that, but when in doubt clear your browser cache. Because chess.com is a bit of a memory hog, strange things can happen when it runs out. Clearing your browser cache greatly lessens the chance of that. No guarantees, but it's worth a try.
How come sometimes when I'm in the middle of playing, the game automatically makes me offer a draw when I didn't press the button? It seems to happen randomly. It makes me randomly send a draw request even though I didn't press it. How do I turn this off?
