Abuse can be you swearing at someone, sandbagging or ban evasion or whatever
I can explain chess.com's moderation. Chess.com bans and muted everyone innocent, and trolls can do anything, swearings (and much worse stuff) are on there for a day.
And, one more thing:
Did you have two or more accounts without staff approval (you can create an alt account without staff approval but it will likely result in closure of all your accounts)? They are REALLY sensitive for that.

You would need to contact Support directly using the option in the menu about any account closure
