Why isn't Puzzle Rush available on my Android App???

Avatar of jishnuplayschess

Someone, please help...

@jishnuplayschess puzzle rush is not a feature of the current Android app yet. You will have to access chess.com using a mobile web browser like Chrome for Android to access puzzle rush on your Android device.

It works really well on a mobile browser. Might be a little faster in the app, but certainly workable.

@Martin_Stahl exactly! While it certainly needs to be incorporated into the Android app, Android device users with smart phones can just use a mobile web browser as you correctly recommended. I find the chess.com site loads faster using Chrome for Android versus say Firefox for Android. Puzzle rush loads and functions fast.

The iOS app already has puzzle rush in it, with the GUI layout like on the website. The iOS app has had it for a long time now. So the Android app developers at chess.com do need to release an update with this new feature soon! I have said it many times, the Android app lacks numerous features and functions one can find on the website. So it is really long overdue for an overhaul and update!

It's too bad other features (such as the revamped puzzles) are pushed before fully implementing older ones everywhere.

@jishnuplayschess I just don't see this happening any time soon. It's been MONTHS since anything was added to the Android app. The Android app does not have many of the features of the main website. For now just use Chrome for Android and access the site via this mobile web browser and navigate to puzzles.

The Android app hasn't had a major feature release in a while. My understanding is that one is being worked on, and is close to finished, but haven't heard of a release date.

About 40 weeks have passed, that is a giant leap for a man but a small period for mankind
