Why use the app

Am new to smartphones - I just acessed this site in my browser on the phone. So why should I d/l the app?

A lot of people like the app for playing games. I use it a lot for tactics. Having the board take up the screen on my phone is ideal, with no scrolling or size issues.

I must admit that I prefer using V3 via the Chrome browser when using mobile also. But there are differences, and some people might prefer the app. For example, one handy thing about having the app installed, even if that's not what you usually use, is that it supports notifications. So you can see easily if you get a new message or if a new move has been played in a daily game. Also, some mobile platforms will be a bit taxed to run via the browser. But the app should have no problems. And it may be that the app uses less bandwidth in the case that you are using cellular rather than wifi, though I'm just guessing about that.

Because the app is best...even with my laptop I prefer the smartphones app. You just have to turn it in and can see baby things off-line forums, games, tactics all are for to screen, it's comfortable and yes don't forget all the buttons are right size. plus still confused ok... it uses less data ( how figures out yourself) you can work witg themes notifications easy landscape and portrait.a little less interactive but lot more straight forward. oh yes i go for the web once a month for the missing features like checking my trophy etc
