Seems there is no way to go backwards, and I haven't received any for the league levels I've already claimed. Will these be another unachievable simple due to timing?
Those achievements aren't fully active yet. When the rest of the code is ready, it's my understanding that they'll be retroactively awarded.
I just received mine after visiting the main League page: https://www.chess.com/leagues
Not sure if it was due to that or the backfill process is working.
I did also get them back on Jul 3rd, which marked the end of a league session in which I did advance. I though I saw them right away on logging in. But I was in the Android app, so I didn't browse to the main league page URL (but I'm sure they have it tied somehow). Either way great news.
I had no idea there were going to be achievements for the leagues. It was fairly irritating and distracting when *three* consecutive achievement notifications popped up *during a game* earlier, while I was on the app. The notification bubbles blocked my view of the opponent's back rank, and as each one went away, the next one popped up in turn.
Surely the app can be coded so I don't get achievement notifications during live games.
