WinBoard and PGN files - two questions.

Hi I've been using Winboard to analyse positions and so on but when I load pgn files all the pieces make their moves very rapidly and I can't seem to slow it down. Is there a way to change the speed that the game is "played" at?

Also, I've been trying to load PGN files on here and this probably sounds very stupid, but I don't know how to use Winboard to get a list of the moves, to paste them into the forum's chess position creator so I had to paste them from the actual game, all manually. I'd rather not do this as it takes alot of time, and I'm sort of new to all of this and would like some guidance as to how best to use it :)

Load PGN files for the forums I mean.

I dont know winboard, but I think you'd do well to switch to SCID or Arena, both free and very good.

Yeah, this is really hard to use and I've never used anything like this before, I played in a chess club when i was a kid but only recently started doing computer stuff, and I don't know if all of the programmes are like this or just this one. I used winboard as the chess commentators on youtube sometimes used and talked about it. This probably sounds really naive but I'd like to post more of my games here and analyse the positions but I don't know how to use it all properly.

Get Scid, feel free to message me if you have problems with that. All chess GUI's are a little complicated to set up, but once you get the hang they are really powerful
