I emailed chess.com service. Hopefully they will look into this issue. Also question for everybody, does this usually happen after you rewatch a couple moves, like you press backward arrow a few times? Bc sometimes that’s when I freeze

I haven't watched any movies, and it just happened to me for a third time. It said I was disconnected for about 10 seconds and then when it started working again it said I had lost! I thought I was going to get to continue the game this time since it corrected itself so quickly, buy nothing doing.

Started happening a few weeks ago and now several times a day. I just lost 5 minutes in a 10 minute game. Happens whether or not whether I review past moves.

It happens to me on iOS, and yes it could be after I reviewed the last few moves.

Seems a lot of folks keeping trying to play, and get more frustrated. Just wondering if there will be an announcement when it is resolved.

Same thing here. My internet works fine. Game freezes, both clocks are stuck, and after a while you lose by timeout or abandonment.... have been playing chess during the last 3 years and never happened before but already 5 times during the last couple of days

Hi all, I hope this helps.. when the game freezes try hitting “Resign” but then UNCONFIRM. This seems to unfreeze the game every time. Interested to know if it works for everyone?

Interesting, thanks for the tip. I'll try it if it happens again. (Hopefully won't hit CONFIRM instead, ha ha.)

Same has happened to me at least 10 times during the last two weeks. Today I’ve received a message that the system found a fraud players and that they are giving me back 8 credits. Those 8 credits doesn’t help at all, especially not against the feeling of being cheated

Yep, have the same problem with the app on iOS on an iPad. Hung up many times over the last few days. Both clocks stoped, and I either lose through abandonment, or sometimes end up with seconds to play against my opponents 14+ minutes (mostly play 15/10 at the moment) Very annoying, and unfair against me and my opponents. Do something about this, Chess.com! Because, otherwise, this is a great site and community 🖖

This is constantly happening to me the WiFi symbol briefly flashes red and my opponents clock stops. The only way I can find out if he has moved or my last move has been registered is to close the app and then restart it this obviously takes a few seconds and the game resumes either showing my last move as not registered with my clock still counting down. My opponents move have been taken and again my clock counting down or my opponents clock still counting down as they have yet to move. This is unbelievably frustrating and I invariably lose the game. I play 15/10 on an iPad 10 min games are unplayable because of this issue. Chess.com this really needs to be sorted. I was gifted my subscription but would have cancelled it by now as this is making the whole experience disappointing.
Chess.com you must know this is a problem due to the number of reports. I am not one to think the opponents is somehow manipulating this but if this is the case then again I think it is down to the app developer to deal with it. Moan over!

this issue made me always play 30 min cause blitz and even 10 min rapid won't work due to disconnection
