my guess would be it's your internet, not the server, that is to blame here...
In all seriousness, those are not the only two options. A lot of people get the idea that it is either the server or the person's ISP causing the problem, so when they see the rest of their internet connections working fine, it must be the server that has the problem.
The truth is, each person connects to chess.com through a different path of routers and connecting computers. If one of the routers that this person is connecting to is having problems, he will experience connection problems to chess.com, but maybe not anything else. Additionally, no others may be experiencing connection problems to chess.com since they are not going through his same path to connect.
In other words, he could be having trouble connecting because internet.

I find it impossible to play bullet on here, I lose almost every game on time, or suffer a disconnection and lose on time.
My bullet rating on here is 500 points below anywhere else I play all due to time losses.
In addition I get an error message on Tactics Trainer

I have a 100 mbit/sec dedicated line... I am able to surf the internet while it shows that I've disconnected from chess.com..
So kindly, don't make excuses for chess.com.. The disconnections are ATTROCIOUS! Lost many games over disconnection
Loading a website works MUCH differently than maintaining a connection to a live game application like the Chess.com Live Chess system.
It's funny you are in Canada, not far from the Chess.com servers, and you claim the disconnects are 'Attrocious'(sic). But, I live in a '3rd world' country 1/2 around the globe from the servers and rarely ever have connection problems.
I would guess that you are either exacturating or have unidentified issues with your connections.
