I'm a newbie. I've accidently got a 3 day game board set up on my live games and it's worrying me. I'm wondering if my opponent makes a move when I am offline does my playing time tick down. It would be obvious that if you are not online constantly you will lose due to running out of time.
If you've got a 3-day game, it's three days per move, so you are fine. Once one player makes a move, their opponent has 3 days to reply, once they move the clock is set back to 3 days.

And you can play daily chess by selecting time control on this bottom.
