abborting on same connection

trying to play my son at home, no chance as the game keeps aborting? anyone know why??

Are you both making a first move in a timely fashion? Live games now auto-terminate if each player doesn't complete his/her 1st move in 15-20 seconds. After that, the clock starts and it's business as usual.

yes we both make a move then it aborts rated or unrated makes no difference, hes upstairs on his laptop im downstairs on my p.c, back to the old chess board i think!
