It means you abort too often and they're stoping you from doing it because of it. They removed it because you could be A) Aborting so as not to play black or B) Aborting so as not to play your opponent. They don't like be cause then it "ruins other's experiances" and you can avoid change you matching settings before starting the game. Whatever your reasons for aborting so much, that is why they took it away from you. I believe its temporary.

I don't know why you abort, so I'm not specifically accusing you of anything, but it seems that you have aborted "too much" and have been automatically restricted by the system.

While there are legitimate times to abort, doing so too often while result in your account being restricted due to the new "Fair Play Policy."  If you are aborting because you're looking for people of certain ratings, then you need to look for the rating filters.  You should never need to abort because your opponent has a rating you don't want to play.  I don't really play Live Chess here, so I can't tell you where these settings are.

On the other hand, if you're aborting because you don't like playing as black (or white, although that happens far less often), then you'll just have to accept that it is only fair to play both sides roughly half the time each.

Finally, if the reason you are aborting is because your opponents aren't moving, then try to have a little more patience.  The system should be auto-aborting if nobody moves within the first couple of minutes, but I don't know how long that takes and posts I have seem sometimes indicate it isn't happening in the correct time frame.  All I can really say to that is that if it seems like your opponent is taking too long to move, refresh your page every once in a while to make sure that the connection between you and the server hasn't gotten flaky.

As to getting the abort button back, that will take some time.  Play more games "fairly" (i.e., not stalling in lost positions, not pestering your opponents with unreasonable draw offers, and possibly other things better described in the official Fair Play Policy), and eventually you will regain the privilege of having an abort button.  If you think you have been restricted unfairly, contact the staff directly through the "Help" link in the gray area at the top of the page next to your username.  And please remember to be polite when you do so.

Sorry to hit you on the head one more time if you do not really need it, but the link in post #5 tells you how to set your ratings limits.
