The whole page literally freezes every time this ad comes in. Please help me play chess and get rid of it!
Ad make it lag

Yeah, the lag's really bad. I imagine the advertisers are charged per ad, and not per GB of data they unload on us, so of course they've an incentive to pack lots into each ad.
The forums are still ok, though.

oh, you might give this a try next time:

I have lost several games in a row due to bad connection only on this site. Now I have a Fred Meyer ad coming up in the middle of the game!

This ad is still here... I guess it's time to find a new place for live chess.
Its 25 houres since you posted a forum post about the issue, give them some time. Also the mods dont read the forum, you should send a ticket, or do as the rest of us and install adblock

Have you reported it? There's not much chess.com can do about it if they don't get told about it (and posting here in the forums doesn't really count)...

Actually, I just recently reported it. (after figuring out how to screenshot) Figures when I finally wanted it to show up, I had to wait half an hour for it.
But in all reality, shouldn't it be the mods' jobs to read through forums and check for bad ads? That's kinda the definition of a mod. Ya know .. moderate the forums.

"Moderating" means making sure people are behaving like adults and not cursing, swearing, or making hugely inappropriate comments - it doesn't mean identifying and actioning bad ads.
The canned help is on the Help & Support page, from which you can submit a report to get help from the Support team, but it can take them a few days - the mods generally won't submit a ticket through there, because they're not experiencing the problem directly.
If it's a bad ad that is causing you problems, you can also report it through the forum thread that sftac posted last time: http://www.chess.com/blog/webmaster/get-diamond-benefits-for-helping-us-fight-quotbad-adsquot
Every time the Calvin klein ad comes up in live chess, the board freezes and lags ridiculously.
