If you're playing on a cellular device, you might try disabling either wifi or cellular data and see if that improves things. The device can switch between data connections, which can impact connectivity to the server and cause lag and short disconnects.
Also, if the wifi is shared with other connections, it possible that other traffic on your network can impact connections.
