If I win, and don't have a beer, I'm sad. If I lose, and have had too much beer, I'm happy. It I don't have beer and play chess, I accept no rematches because I'm looking for beer. (how long you want me to go on with this? I could do this for days....)
Ask for rematch, accept rematch.

As I advised someone else last week, you need to stock a cooler next to your computer.

I read up that most plp accept rematches but when i ask for rematch most plp dont accept it.... And about me, i like playing chess so i accept any game xD
Rucomir, the apparent disconnect between ppl saying they will accept rematches and most ppl not accepting rematches probably has more to do with the sort of ppl who read and comment in the forums as a subset of all players here.
Fezzik, did your girlfriend not tell you to stop talking about subsets?

Don't you love the whiners that lose at bullet and complain that you only beat them on time? That's the object of the game; play fast enough to win.
Very true! Frustrating yes, worth complaining no. The only time I ever complained is when a guy won on time even when it was my queen+rook against his king, and then he said 'what a joke', just a little manners lesson! So, lose on time in winning position=move on.

No technically you lost.
That is true given I lost, wrong word choice, the last sentence does defeat the point of the post a bit actually. But overall the point is I don't complain when I lose on time when I'm winning in the game, the exception I stated was an exception because of what I wrote in capitals. But anyway, feel free to think what you like Willie.
Irrespective of my thoughts or your capital letter use. You lost.
Did I not clarify in the post you quoted?
No please explain again:

ChessMastora - I interpret his/her response differently than you did. Maybe they were saying "it's a joke that I won on time". In other words, maybe they were sending you condolences for losing in an unfortunate way (I consider losing on time legitimate but unfortunate). I don't think you're being a bad guy on this, but I do think maybe it was a misunderstanding.

If your time ran out and you had mating material and he had only a King, it's technically a draw.
Anyway, this doesn't seem to be on topic.

I agree, an anecdote only, it was a long time ago anyway, I think the draw system for one sided games and losing on time had not yet been implemented. Let's return to the rematch thread.
And did I not say in the second post that the first post misrepresented what I meant?
So why did you make the first post in the first place? This seems like very irrational behaviour. Do you stick to your treatment plan?

Should I go back to edit it and make it look like you are chatting hallucinations of your mind my friend?

My formula has been simple: accept the rematch! I have only offered a rematch maybe three times in my life; I am regularly offered rematches and I take them. Infact, most of my rating points in both bullet and blitz were probably attained from playing not more than about ten people. Many of my games have been 10-, 12-, 15 games against the same player and I was the one in every case accepting the rematch whether I won or lost. If you've played me you'd readily recall. So, for me, the more, the merrier.

THANKK YOU THE FIRST POST ON TOPIC!! :)
If I loose the game, I will ask for a rematch. I see it as playing against a challenging opponent whom I can learn from.
On the other hand, if I win, even by a small advantage....I don't ask for a rematch. Why play with someone who I already know I can beat when there are so many players out there? Now, if the opponent who I beat asks for a rematch...I always grant it to make sure they get the opportunity to learn or avenge their defeat.
