Blitz Rating?

Hi,

I'm new to this site and I was wondering what the Blitz Rating is. I'm pretty sure that it's the number that appears next to a person's user name. Can someone please explain to me how it's changed and its meaning? Thanks!

There are 2 standard types of ratings; One for online chess and one for live chess. In live chess, the time has a high range. The Blitz time setting is from 3-5 mins each person. So if you play with that time setting, you will get a rating, which is like a value of your skill.

in live chess there are  3 ratings bullet rating is  aminute game  standard rating   are more than one minute and so with blits rating  to know  a true rating  one must have to play  looo games for  true rating performance
