Board indicating it is opponent's move when it isn't

The board indicated it was my opponent's turn, and their clock kept ticking down. I got bored and checked the news to pass the time. Still no movement. My opponent's clock ran out and the board froze, refreshed the tab and it turns out it was my turn all along. The same thing happened again a while ago. I received no warning of a faulty connection. This is ridiculous.
